Lanzarote is an ideal holiday destination. As this small Canary Island enjoys loads of sunshine all year round, experiences little in the way of rainfall and boasts loads of things for visitors to do and see.

In the current economic climate Lanzarote is also a prudent choice as holidays on the island are relatively inexpensive, with plenty of good value package deals available. Whilst accommodation in Lanzarote is also very reasonably priced.

For example many four star Lanzarote hotels are available from as little as 70 per night which is the price per room and not per person. Whilst the prices of apartments and villas in Lanzarote start from around 180 per week.

The best selection of these holiday rental properties can be found in the two main resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca. The former being the oldest and most popular holiday destination on the island whilst the latter is the newest and fastest growing.

Puerto del Carmen is located just a short ten minute transfer from the airport at Arrecife and has been welcoming tourists sever since the 1970s. Before then the locals knew it as a little fishing village called La Tiosa a name still in use with many Lanzaroteos today. Now it has expanded enormously and is split into two main areas the Old Town located around the harbour area and the New Town which is close to the main beach of Playa Grande.

Playa Blanca is located on the same sheltered southeastern coastline around 30km to the south of Puerto del Carmen. And tends to enjoy slightly better weather as a result particularly during the winter months. The resort was purpose built during the 1990s and has rapidly overtaken the island third resort of Costa Teguise in terms of it popularity with visitors.

There are plenty of other places to stay around the island as well as Lanzarote is home to an abundance good quality rural accommodation such as fashionable fincas and cool hotels. And there is also a luxury marina at Puerto Calero where visitors can enjoy a stay in one of two excellent hotels The Hesperia and the Costa Calero.

Wherever visitors chose to stay Lanzarote offers not only great weather but lots of places to explore. Such as the Fire Mountains of Timanfaya and the many creations of the local artist Csar Manrique.

Being one of the legendaries of Italian footwear industry, Prada sneakers are undoubtedly flashing our eyes with their quality and fashion leading design. Like me, if you are one of these saying ‘I am different and I like wearing nifty things’ then there is no further to say. There is no much to say as the brand Prada sneakers really deserves every single word we speak here.

I had some doubts about the rumours lingering around but when I saw the idiom ‘even the devil wears Prada’, I was no more in any kind of suspicion. What’s more, there are some saying that Papa wears it too =). Above are my reasons for these beauties and the urge to speak on behalf of them here.

However, most of you guys may murmur about one more brand called “Gucci men shoes”, which indeed can not be compared to Prada in all situations as these brands focus on different style of products. But as for me, I prefer Prada shoes type shoes to gucci men shoes. They look more futuristic, stylish and fashionable, whereas Gucci follows the same pattern year and year, repeating itself at all.

Well, these are my own thoughts and I do not claim them to be undeniable facts, you can share your own views. What do you think?

In the days when luxury travel industry is booming, everyone wants to have a piece of that trillion-dollar pie. From Platinum One Destinations, Coastal Club, Global Resorts Network, YTB, Traverus, WorldVentures to companies offering a travel product as one of the line of products it is hard to make a right choice which company is best.

Companies promoting travel discounts, travel agent programs, or just travel clubs are swiping the nation. In the past year I have seen more travel companies popping up online because they know they can become super wealthy either offering great discounts to the customers or creating an opportunity for an average joe to make tons of money. Our head is spinning from all travel companies that we see ads online and offline. Among dozens of travel business opportunities, what is the best way to choose the best travel business?

There are few tips I would love to give when you are searching for the best opportunity. First of all, you have to decide if you want to build MLM business or direct sales business. It could be from a home-based travel agent program to selling timeshares or travel club memberships. MLM model takes time to build so you need to be prepared to dedicate your first 12 months to build the foundation.

Secondly, make sure the management team of the company has a good reputation in the business field, and also it is very important to remember that they do have travel professionals who will train you and assist you in becoming a travel agent professional. Ask questions about what kind of vendors they work with, what discounts travel agents get being with that particular company. Vendor Trainings are very vital in the travel agent business. Usually they are free, and it is best if they performed virtually in the comfort of your home. The last question I would ask is the commissions you will receive. Make sure it is at least 60% of the booking fees. Also ask what percentage certain vendor pay to that particular company. Some vendors like Caribbean cruises pay 5-15% to the Travel Company and you get paid 60-70% out of that.

Third, find out what type of marketing they offer. Times changed and not many people want to do belly to belly networking. The technology allows now creating various pages, webinars, and online presentations to bring message to the audience. If you are an online person, you would not want to work with someone who does hotel meetings or home parties. You need to find the team that meets your goals and requirements and a sponsor who will guide and train you. Ask the person who introduced you to the business if you can attend the training calls, so you will know at what level of the professionalism it is done.

Fourth, make sure there is a value in what you do and offer to people. You are in the business of serving others and not ripping people off. Travel is exciting, and it attracts people of all ages. There is no convincing here. Anyone can do travel business if they love traveling. Also no matter how much the start up costs for your travel business, care about your prospects and show them you are interested in them. They might build you million-dollar business! Invest your time in others and help them because it will pay off in the long run.At last, enjoy what you do. If you have passion toward travel business, then go for it. Learn from the best, master your skills and become one of the best in your field. Travel is trillion dollars industry. Do you want a fat piece of it?

The Kona coast on the Big Island of Hawaii is the ideal place from which to enjoy the gorgeous clear blue waters, which are renowned for snorkelling, diving and spotting dolphins and green sea turtles. Boat tours can take more adventurous explorers to swim amongst manta rays and it is also a great place to go deep-sea fishing for giant Pacific Blue Marlin.

The sunny Kona coast is a scenic 45-minute drive from Kailua-Kona to Kealakekua Bay, an important historic location marking the death of Captain Cook who was the first British explorer to establish contact with the Hawaiian Islands in 1778. He was killed in a skirmish with native Hawaiians one year later. The Bay is also home to schools of beautiful tropical fish and is a wonderful place to swim in the crystal clear waters of the ocean.

There are several tourist resorts along the Kona coast, offering hotels, small boarding houses, campsites and even condos to purchase if you wish to move into the area of visit it time and time again as many people do having once seen its natural beauty and the wealth of things to do there. The Kona coast is less crowded than many parts of Hawaii and offers a different aspect, with quaint little historic towns and secluded beaches. However, the area along the Kona coast is well appointed for visitors, offering a wide variety of eateries and shopping opportunities. In fact, it is not well known, but more people make return visits to the Kona coast than they do to any other Hawaiian destination.

The place exudes aloha spirit, and the friendly people will greet you with the floral leis that the Hawaiian welcome is so famous for. Children can be seen practicing the traditional hula at the Hulihe’e Palace and visitors can join in or just sample the local cuisine at many restaurants that there are in the area.

The Kona Coast was also once home to Hawaiian royalty King Kamehameha spent his last years here in Kailua-Kona and there are significant historic places including Hulihee Palace and Jaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, which are of great interest to look around to discover Hawaiis past.

With 268 miles of coastline the Big Island is, as its name implies, the biggest of the Hawaiian islands and offers some of Hawaiis richest natural experiences including Hawaiis largest lake, Akaka Falls at 135 meters, the most southerly tip of the USA, Ka Laes South Point, and the tallest mountain in the world from the sea bed, Mauna Kea. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO site, is home to the remarkable Kilauea Volcano, which has been erupting for 25 years and is one of the few places in the world where an active volcano can be experienced.

Munich is the capital city of the state of Bavaria and the third largest city in Germany. It is well known for its culture, architecture and the “Okoberfest” (the annual beer celebration). Getting around is easy because of its modern and efficient public transport system. On all major streets there are bike lanes, so it is safe and easy to travel by bike through the city. In Munich there are several interesting landmarks to visit like a large number of museums, art galleries, concert halls and historical buildings.

The most famous attractions in Munich are:
The Alte Pinakothek is one of the largest museums in Europe. It houses a large collection of paintings. This collection contains 800 paintings by European painters from the 14th century till the 18th century. Famous paintings in the museum are: Drer’s “Four Apostles”; Rogier van der Weyden’s ” columba-altar “; Altdorfer’s “Battle of Alexander at Issus”; Botticelli’s “Pieta” and Rubens’ “Self-Portrait with his Wife”. The Neue Pinakothek is Munich’s museum of 19th century painting and sculptures. The collection consists mainly of German Romantics and French Impressionists. Goya, Manet, Renoir and Cezanne are some of the painters which works are on display.

The Deutsches Museum contains over 13 acres of exhibitions containing invaluable original machines and equipment, models and reconstructions, from classical mechanics to telecommunications, from a full-size reconstructed coal mine to space travel technology. Making the museum one of the largest museums of technology and natural sciences in the world. You can see airplanes, submarines and the first X-ray machine among other things. The live demonstrations and hands-on instructional aids are fun and informative for the visitor.

Built for the Olympic Games in 1972 with its tent-roof covering 75,000 square meters, the Olympic Park had become a well known landmark in Munich. This landscaped park contains sport facilities, lakes, bicycle paths, concert venues, restaurants and a football stadium. Don’t miss the fascinating BMW Museum across the street, right next to the companies headquarters - which was constructed in the shape of a four-cylinder engine.

The Oktoberfest takes place every year late in September and runs to early October. The duration of the festival is two weeks.
Located at “Theresienwiese” you can drink beyond your limits, meeting folks from all over the world. All beer tents close at 11 p.m., so make sure you start your trip early enough. About 30% of the yearly beer production of all the big breweries in Munich are consumed during these two weeks. You can also visit a giant fun fair, side shows and souvenir stands. Every year the Oktoberfest welcomes nearly 7 million visitors. This makes the Munich Oktoberfest the largest festival in the world.

Deciding how to plan a European cruise is no easy task. There are so many different cruise lines, potential destinations, price ranges, and voyage lengths that trying to narrow down all these criteria to match your dream vacation can be a daunting task indeed. This article will help you focus on the key decisions you need to make to ensure you get the European cruise package that is specifically tailored to your ideal vacation.

Before you do anything you need to decide what time of year you are going to travel. If your work schedule or other commitments limit your time window then that can have a huge impact on choosing a destination. Once you’ve decided when you are going you can start to research which European cruises are best enjoyed during that part of the year.

After you’ve figured out when you are going the next most important consideration is your budget. Cruising in Europe can be incredibly expensive. Yes, there are some discount European cruise lines operating, but there are some compromises if you choose this option. By knowing how much you can spend you can narrow down your options even further. If money is no option, then lucky you! I wish I could say the same.

Decide what amenities and activities you want available to you on your cruise. Though the spectacular sights and ports of call will obviously be the highlight of your European cruise you will still be spending a great deal of time aboard the ship. Make sure the ship offers enough entertainment options to keep you occupied during your voyage.

Check out what shore excursions will be offered with your cruise. Often the best part of a cruise vacation are the adventures you have when you get off the ship and start exploring. If you are the adventurous type then you will want to make sure you have a plethora of shore excursions to choose from that suit your personal interests.

Finally, figure out what ports of call you want to see on your European cruise. Europe has so many historic, magnificent cities to choose from that it is hard to go wrong, whatever itinerary you choose. However, if you’ve always wanted to see Spain, Turkey, Greece, or Malta then you’ll want to choose a cruise that allows you to visit as many of these destinations as possible.

Every time someone mentions about a holiday trip, it is inevitably to imagine a nice and comfortable accommodation. When traveling to an unfamiliar destination, it is always important to know the details of various hotels in the place and see if you can find cheap hotels. Necessary information must be gathered and the internet is the best tool when it comes to this. While browsing the web, you may have the chances of coming across various advertisements with pretty attractive offers like cheap hotels but with excellent service. Thus, it is a clever move to be sure of these offers otherwise, you will have an experience you wont like.

Visiting the website of the said cheap hotels is the very first step to sureness. Information such as address, telephone number, and telephone should be double-checked by contacting them directly. Check as well the testimonials and reviews of the said cheap hotel, in this way, you can have a hint on how the service goes. Once you are convinced that indeed such establishment or offer exists, go ahead, and book a room straight away

Traveling with your family requires some extra facilities to be present like swimming pool or a childrens park. A room spacious enough to accommodate your number is your first aim, though. Entertainment facilities will also be good as well as a car you can rent for sight seeing and shopping.

But on a business travel, the most essential thing you need is communication. This means before choosing that cheap hotels, make sure communication facilities are available with ease like telephone, e-mail, fax. This is highly necessary, especially if you are not planning to bring a laptop with you.

Most of the travelers would prefer a cheap hotels near the airport or city, depending on the purpose of traveling to the place. Executives on a business travel would prefer standard rooms if not special rooms with deluxe facilities. While a family on a vacation would most probably be happy with whatever room as long as it is spacious and with the necessary facilities like a cable TV, coffee shop, laundry, etc. However, it is still a general rule to provide an excellent service to all the guests no matter how beautiful the facilities are.

There are various categories for rating a hotel. The criteria vary from country to country but usually the ratings depend on the kind of service the hotel offers. Hotels are rated from one star to five stars. The better the facilities and service, the higher the rating will be. Awarding the rates also include the customer satisfaction as well as the maintenance of the premises.

Bali is possibly one of the most enchanting island on earth. One of more than 13.000 islands in Indonesia, and Bali is revered as one of the worlds most popular and interesting tourist destination.

Some quick facts: Bali covers an area of 5620 km2, about 140 km from West to East and 80 km from the South to North. The South part consists of lime stone with beautiful soft white sand along the beach, while the East, West and North are mostly volcanic layers with black soft sand beach.

Bali has a tropical climate with the average temperature of about 30 degrees C (80 degrees F) all year. It has only 2 seasons, dry season started from April to October and wet season from October to April. It is always nice and cool in the hillside while though hot around the coastal area but there are still nice breeze all the time. The dry season is always sunny with great view of sunset and sunrise, while the wet season is not too wet because there is still much sun to enjoy during the day time.

Here are eleven things one must see if you are in Bali.

 1. Barong Dance This is approx. 1 hour long religious dance representing the eternal fight between the good - Barong and the evil symbolized by a horrible looking witch called Rangda. The costumes and set are elaborate and nice. The trick is to get there early, so that you get front seats and be close enough to see the facial expressions of the dancers

 2. Celuk (Gold & silver smith), Mas (wood carving) and Stone carving villages - You would drive past these 3 villages and see the array of shops selling the gold, wood and stone. As you get into Celuk, all the gold and silver smith shops flank the roads, you can also drop by their factory to take a look at the production process. The same goes for the wood carving and stone carving

 3. Mount Batur (Kintamani) This is the second largest active volcano in Bali. It is 1,717 meters from sea level, and bears the remains of the black lava from it’s eruption in 1917 and 1927. There is a nice scenic crater lake there. You can do buffet lunch at one of the restaurant and admire the breath-taking view as you eat. The buffet lunch cost about S$10 and has reasonable spread

 4. Trita Empul - Tirta Empul means ” bubbling water ” and is a holy water temple built in 960 AD. The temple is beautiful temple and has holy water fountains for different purposes of purification and blessing. There were people in the fountains doing their purification when I was there. Further inside the temple area, you can see the source of the water a spring where water is bubbling up through the black sand. A total make of nature. Legend has it that one of the gods shot an arrow from heaven to look for water, and the spot where the water is bubbling up now is the exact spot where the arrow hit

 5. Goa Gajah Means “elephant cave”. Found in 11th century, this cave was dug in the peaceful riverside valley in a hard sand stone. Entering the inside T-Shape cave, there are some niches used by Buddhist Monks for meditation. Among the many historical remains found around this cave is the holy Ganesh Statue (a human body with elephant head) which is believed as the God of Purification and Evil Controller. The cave can be quite claustrophobic for some people but is well worth a quick look inside

 6. Sebatu Holy Spring Temple - Is named ” Gunung Kawi ” in Balinese. It is a very beautiful village temple located in a peaceful valley with its holy spring. Somewhat similar to Trita Empul, there are large fountains outside the temple area, where villagers use to take a bath. However, my driver told me that this place is not as holy as Trita Empul

 7. Taman Ayun - Is the largest Royal Family Temple Complex built in 1934 in the village of Mengwi, Badung Regency. The area of this temple is surrounded by moat with some water lilies and lotuses. The place is still used during prayer sessions and important ceremonial events

 8. Tanah Lot One of the most famed temple in Bali. Tanah Lot means ” the land of ocean” is a fascinating Hindu Temple built on a piece of cliff in Indian Ocean shore. This temple is dedicated to the God of Ocean “Baruna” built by a high Hindu Priest name Dang Hyang Dwijendra in the 16th century. During high tide, the cliff is surrounded by water and the temple looks like it is floating. In the bottom part of the cliff there is a fresh water holy spring while on the beach cave there are some holy snakes that guard the temple. In the South and North part of the temple is absolutely beautiful view and best for watching sunset

 9. Uluwatu Temple - Also built by the same Hindu Priest who built Tanah Lot, Uluwatu temple is also another magnificent temple built perched on a cliff. The whole temple stretches across a large area and it is flanked by the fabulous India Ocean. Here, you also see large numbers of monkeys, mostly mischievous ones, who snatches food from visitors

 10. Lake Beratan & Pura Ulun Danu - Beratan is a name of the Lake and Village. There is a spectacular floating temple called “Ulun Danu Temple” and is an absolutely interesting sight. The weather at the lake is cool, which is a nice break from the mostly hot sun during my trip. There were people who hired a traditional paddle boat or speed boat to go around the lake, although my driver said there really is nothing much to see around the lake

 11. Jatiluweh A place where you see lots of terraced rice paddy fields. The sights are breathtaking as you see the green terrace, meandering around you. This place is supposed to one of the few in the world that has such nice terraced paddies. Those terraces are probably cut decades ago, and now resulting in the fascinating view today

Planning a Western Mediterranean cruise? Lucky you. While most of your friends are stuck laboring at their 9-5 jobs you’ll be sailing the sunny seas, eating world class food and visiting some of the most fabulous destinations on the planet. In fact, there is so much to see and do, coming up with an itinerary can be quite a challenge. With magical destinations like France, Italy, Spain and Portugal to choose from there are enough options to fill half a dozen vacations. I’ve compiled a list of some of the best of the region to help you plan your Western Mediterranean cruise.

If you’ve always wanted to tour the magnificent French Riviera then a cruise is just about the most perfect way to do so. Take a shore excursion to the town of Villefranche-sur-Mer and see the beauty that inspired the art of Matisse and Picasso. In Marseille you can see the Notre-Dame-de-Guarde. Take a journey to Cannes, the home of the world renowned international film festival. And in Nice the Opera House and Old Town await your pleasure. There is so much to see and do in this region that it will be hard to drag yourself away to see the delights the other countries on your itinerary have to offer.

In sunny Spain Barcelona is the port where you will almost certainly dock. If you have an appreciation of architecture you will be completely blown away by the stunning Gothic architecture of the buildings here. Again, you have the opportunity to see the works of the legendary painter Pablo Picasso in the Museu Picasso, where one of the world’s most extensive collections of his work are showcased. Another popular Spain cruise destination is Mallorca. Spain’s largest island features the massive Palma Cathedral, and if you want to relax for awhile the island offers upwards of 70 magnificent beaches for you to lay back and soak up the sun.

In Portugal the ports of Lisbon and Funchal await. Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city has something for the whole family to enjoy. Explore St. George’s Castle, Jeronimo’s Monastery, or Belem Tower. Ancient curiosities abound in the Gulbenkian Museum. If you have kids you must make time for a visit to the Oceanarium where all manner of marine life from sharks to cute Antarctic penguins can be seen. One of the world’s largest aquariums the Oceanarium stands out against the ancient stonework of the rest of the city, and is one of the most state of the art facilities you’ll see anywhere in the Western Mediterranean.

On Funchal you enjoy a different sort of adventure. Arrange a shore excursion to climb Picos de Barcelos. This peak is 1,200 feet high and offers a magnificent view of all of Funchal. If you don’t want quite that much exertion on your cruise vacation (and who can blame you?) why not make a visit to see Colombo’s Statue in Santa Catarina Park or take a relaxing stroll through the botanical garden of Quinta das Cruzes.

Last, but certainly not least we have Italy. The choices here are too numerous to describe at length. Rome will be at the top of most people’s itinerary with The Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican City, the Trevi Fountain and the Arch of Constantine just a few of the major highlights of this historic city. If you’ve been to Rome before why not take a trip to Florence instead? Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Museum are must-sees in this beautiful city, and if you are this close you shouldn’t forget to take the tour to Pisa where you can see the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in all its glory.

Again, these are just a few of the highlights of a Western Mediterranean cruise. A trip through this spectacular region will only whet your appetite and you will find yourself wanting to return again and again to further explore the culture and history of these magnificent ancient cities.
